Ohio woman pleads guilty to federal charges in area meth distribution case

Celina Serva aka Ce Ce, 27, of Akron, Ohio, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra Jr. on Thursday to possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

The plea carries a maximum penalty of life, and a $10,000,000 fine.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Donna Duncan, who was handling the federal charges when they were filed in January, Serva was indicted on federal charges earlier this year that according to the indictment and a previously filed complaint on March 28, 2025, as part of an investigation that involved the federal DEA, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force into the sale and distribution of narcotics in Ellicott. The investigation included surveillance and controlled purchases of narcotics.

On April 3, 2025, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Ellicott, seizing multiple controlled substances, a shotgun, and a large quantity of cash. Subsequent investigation identified Serva as the source of supply. Later that day law enforcement observed a vehicle, driven by Serva arrive in the driveway of a house known for drug activity. Serva got out of the vehicle and approached the front door. When law enforcement pulled in behind her vehicle, Serva immediately returned to her vehicle and threw a bag back inside the vehicle. Four children and Serva’s mother were inside the vehicle at the time. Law enforcement executed a federal search warrant on the vehicle and recovered 960 grams of methamphetamine inside the bag Serva had thrown into the vehicle.

This case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the Department of Justice to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael J. Adler. The plea is the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Farhana Islam, New York Field Division, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, under the direction of Chautauqua County Sheriff James Quattrone, the Jamestown Police Department, under the direction of current Chief Scott Forster, and the Ellicott Police Department, under the direction of Chief Daniel Ingrao.

Sentencing is scheduled for January 11, 2027, at 2:00 p.m. before Judge Sinatra.
