Woman Involved In Tuesday Standoff Faces Further Drug Charges
A Jamestown woman who was involved in a standoff with police on Tuesday now faces charges after she was allegedly found with drugs in the city jail.
Jamestown police report Kylah Seiberg, 29, of Jamestown was undergoing medical treatment while she was in the custody of the Jamestown Police Department on Wednesday when it was discovered Seiberg had allegedly secreted 7 grams of fentanyl into her body and brought it into the City Jail. She has been further charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
Seiberg and Vazquez were arraigned today by Judge John LaMancuso in Jamestown City Court and sent without bail to the Chautauqua County Jail. A felony hearing has been scheduled for a later date.
