Two Charged After Police Investigate Suspicious Vehicle In Business Parking Lot
Two Buffalo residents face charges after city police investigated a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a business on Jamestown’s south side.
Markeel D. Hilson, 28, of Buffalo, and Tyrone L. Long Jr., 27, of Buffalo, were charged at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday after officers allege they were consuming cannabis at the time of the check. Officers searched the vehicle and report finding methamphetamine and U.S. currency. Both Hilson and Long were arrested and taken to the city jail, where officers say it was found Hilson had allegedly concealed cocaine and fentanyl inside his body.
Hilson was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
Long was charged with consumption of cannabis in a motor vehicle and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
