The U.S. Agriculture Department Rural Development has approved more than $3.2 million in loans and grant funding to support critical water infrastructure improvements in Pomfret. The funding includes two Water and Waste Disposal Loans and Grants awards that will support water main replacement projects aimed at improving reliability, safety, and long-term sustainability of the town’s water system.
