The town of Gerry has purchased some property that borders the town hall. The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from March 16-20. The county does not provide transaction information, but real estate documents are available for review at the clerk’s office. Two Charged After Wednesday Drug Raid

Two Jamestown residents face drug charges after a raid on West Eighth Street on Wednesday. At 10:23 a.m. Wednesday, members of the of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at 218 W. Falconer issues reminder on tax collection

FALCONER — Mayor James Jaroszynski would like to remind village residents that Village Tax Collection will take place at Falconer Village Hall, located at 101 W. Main St.. Unlike previous years, Village taxes will not be collected at The Town of Elllicott offices. Residents are encouraged to make note of this change to avoid confusion during the tax collection period.
