Southwestern Middle School officials recently named the school’s Students of the Month for June. They are:

Grant Damon, sixth grade and the son of Jaime and Craig Damon. His favorite subjects in school are science, ELA, social studies, and math. Grant plays in the middle school band. He is also in Esports, Quiz Bowl, and is a member of the middle school student Council. When he is not at school, Grant enjoys calling his friends, riding his bike, swimming and fishing. One fun fact about him is that he has 51 animals.

Andy Dollard, seventh grade and the son of Lynn and Mark Dollard. Andy’s favorite subjects in school are math and science. He plays on the Southwestern track and soccer teams. He is also a member of the middle school band and honor society. Outside of school, Andy plays on the SWCS summer soccer team. When he is not at school, he enjoys playing outside and spending time with his family. One fun fact about Andy is that he has a golden retriever named Teddy.

Addison Neligh, eighth grade and the daughter of Emily and Patrick Neligh. Her favorite subjects in school are English and social studies. Addison participates in Southwestern volleyball. She is also a member of the Junior Honor Society and Student Council. She also plays travel volleyball for 716 United and Octane beach volleyball. When she’s not at school, Addison enjoys babysitting, reading, and writing. One fun fact about her is that someday she hopes to be a published author.
