Organizations, municipalities, businesses, and entrepreneurs can begin applying for Chautauqua County's 2027 Tourism Product Development Grant Program starting July 1. Applications for programs and initiatives are accepted online annually between July 1 and October 1 for funding in the following year. Projects should help attract visitors, particularly overnight guests and highlight what makes Chautauqua County unique. The Chautauqua County’s Department of Public Facilities Division of Solid Waste is inviting county residents to safely dispose of unwanted household hazardous waste during a special collection event on Saturday, June 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dunkirk Department of Public Works, 19 Lucas Ave., Dunkirk.
