The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded a combined $237,500 to the Chautauqua County Airport in Dunkirk. The funding, provided through the FAA’s Fiscal Year 2026 Airport Improvement Grant program, will support modernization projects at both Chautauqua County-Dunkirk Airport. The U.S. Agriculture Department Rural Development has approved more than $3.2 million in loans and grant funding to support critical water infrastructure improvements in Pomfret.
