New Directions Youth and Family Services recently honored recipients of the agency's milestone years of service and normative awards.

Milestone years of service awards recognize employees who have reached milestone years of dedication serving children and families in Western New York through New Directions Youth and Family Services in increments of five years. Recipients of the Milestone Years of Service Awards honored for the second quarter of 2026 are:

– Gary Dechow, 25 years of service, youth support specialist, Randolph campus

Lesia Pratt, 20 years of service, senior youth support specialist – Randolph campus

Ashley Miller, five years of service, child and family counselor – Randolph campus

Diane Terry, 5 years of service, youth support specialist (on-call) – Randolph campus.

"These awards recognize people who make New Directions stronger every day. Their commitment to our children, families, and one another is reflected not only in the years they have served, but in the way they show up with compassion, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help others. We are fortunate to have them on our team and grateful for the impact they make every day," said Sarah Taylor, president of New Directions Youth and Family Services.
