Lexie, Cooper Are NCCR Dogs Of The Week

Lexie and Cooper unexpectedly lost the person who cared for them and loved them dearly, and now this pair is hoping for a second chance together. Lexie (black/tan), a 5 year old spayed female, was adopted from NCCR when she was a puppy. She’s pure sunshine; outgoing, affectionate, and convinced that everyone she meets is her new best friend. Cooper, a 3½-4 year old mixed breed neutered male, also was originally adopted from NCCR. He’s a little more thoughtful at first, but his sweet, loyal heart shines through. These two are beautifully bonded, housetrained, know their basics (“sit,” “down,” “shake”), stroll politely on leash, and can relax at home with free indoor access when you’re away. They need a home where they can stay side by side. Read more about Lexie, Cooper, and the other available dogs and apply to adopt online at www.caninerescue.org. Lexie and Cooper are in a foster home. Visit the shelter Monday through Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m., no appointment necessary, to meet the adoptable resident dogs at 7540 N. Gale St., Westfield. For more information email adoptions@caninerescue.org.

Starting at $3.50/week.
