Rotary Club Donates To Ripley Library

Recently, a contingent of Westfield-Mayville Rotary Club members joined the staff and library board members of the Ripley Public Library for an unveiling of 40 large-print books. The project began with Jan Berkhouse, past Rotary Club president, and Rhonda Thompson, past library director, discussing the needs of the community. After one month of possible local circulation, all the books will be available to the other 37 regional libraries. This is the third library to which the Rotary Club has donated including the Sherman and Brocton libraries. Funding is provided through a joint Rotary District 7090 grant and local club funding. One of the major goals of Rotary is literacy. From left are Rhonda Thompson, past director, Jan Berkhouse, Rotarian, Stephanie Feiss, assistant library director, and Molly Harvey, library director.

Starting at $3.50/week.
