The Southwestern/Frewsburg flag football team earned its first victory of the season as the Trojans stormed past Lackawanna 33-6 in Division 4 C South action at Charles A. Lawson Field on Thursday.

Rozlyn Haglund and Abery Harvey both provided a pair of touchdowns for the Trojans with Haglund rushing twice and adding a pair of extra-point conversions. Harvey caught and rushed for a touchdown, while Kendal Eckman received another Southwestern/Frewsburg touchdown, both coming from quarterback Jaden Jimerson. Elysse Gruber added another extra-point conversion.

Defensively, Southwestern/Frewsburg (1-1, 1-1) was led by Harvey with seven flag pulls and two sacks, Gruber had six flag pulls and both Kenzie Rogers and Haglund collected five flags.
