One Life and Dune: Part Two will be shown this week at the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts.

One Life (today at 7 p.m.) tells the true story of Nicholas “Nicky” Winton, a young London broker who helps rescue hundreds of predominantly Jewish children from Czechoslovakia in a race against time before Nazi occupation closes the borders on the verge of World War II. Fifty years later, Nicky (Sir Anthony Hopkins) is haunted by the fate of those he wasn’t able to bring to safety. One Life is rated PG and is 110 minutes long.

Dune: Part Two (Saturday at 4 p.m.) explores the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a path of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee. Dune: Part Two is rated PG-13 and is 166 minutes long.

Upcoming Movies @ The Reg include a special engagement of the 2004 cult classic comedy Napoleon Dynamite (Wednesday, April 17, at 7 p.m.) followed by a live, in-person conversation with two of the film’s stars – Jon Heder and Efren Ramirez.

Tickets to Movies at The Reg are $7 for movies and $6 for family films, with an additional $1 theater restoration fee added. Special movie engagements are priced differently. They may be purchased from noon to 5 p.m. Monday and Friday and noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at 716-484-7070 and online at reglenna.com.
