BEMUS POINT — Evan Maloney and Evan Steffen shot 1-under 36 to share medalist honors in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association boys golf action on Wednesday at Bemus Point Golf Course.

Steffen’s 35 led Maple Grove (10-5, 5-5) past Dunkirk (2-17, 2-7) 34-21, while Maloney’s 35 stood out as Jamestown (20-0, 15-0) beat Maple Grove 32-23 and Jordan Kelly’s 42 led Fredonia (16-2, 8-1) to a 30.5-24.5 win over Maple Grove.

BEMUS POINT — Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove’s Jocelyn Wintersteen shot 6-over 37 to claim medalist honors in CCAA girls golf action on Wednesday at Bemus Point Golf Course.

Wintersteen’s 43 led undefeated Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove (6-0, 6-0) past Fredonia 34-21. Juli Spacciapolli’s 45 was the low score for the ‘Billies (3-2, 3-2).

Ryan Kelly of Fredonia and Evan Steffen of Maple Grove shared medalist honors by shooting 1-under 35 in Tuesday’s Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association golf match at Shorewood Country Club.

But, courtesy of a tie-breaker, the Hillbillies defeated the Red Dragons after finishing regulation 27.5 apiece.

Fredonia also downed Southwestern 33-22 and Dunkirk 36-19 to raise its record to 14-1 overall and 7-1 in the division.

Austin McKotch led the Trojans (14-5, 9-3) with a 40 and Robert Kozlowski led the Marauders (2-17, 2-6) with an even-par 36.
