Master Gardeners To Hold Plant Sale May 18

A variety of plants will be available at the Chautauqua County Master Gardener plant sale on May 18.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County’s Master Gardener Program will hold its annual plant sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Jamestown Community College’s Science Center, 301 James Ave., Jamestown.

The sale boasts a diverse array of botanical treasures, including perennials, annuals, native plants, vegetables, and herbs. In addition to the wide selection of plants, attendees can explore gently used gardening books and equipment perfect for expanding their gardening knowledge and toolset. Furthermore, to ensure every gardener starts off on the right foot, complimentary soil Ph testing will be available, providing valuable insights into soil health and composition. Just drop off a soil sample in a small plastic baggie and Master Gardeners will test the Ph levels while you shop.

Admission is free and all are welcome. Cash or check payments will only be accepted For more information, contact the Cornell Cooperative Extension office at 716-664-9502.
