Agnes Is NCCR Dog Of Week

Agnes

The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue’s Dog of the Week is Agnes, a new arrival to the shelter who was rescued when her owner was no longer able to provide care for her. She has seen the vet and received updated vaccinations and has also been spayed. Agnes is a 1-2 year old female Australian cattle dog. She loves people and enjoys cuddling and petting. She seems to get along well with most other dogs, too, and shows submissive behavior to them. Due to her breed it is guessed that she would not do well with cats, but she has not been tested with them yet. Agnes keeps a clean kennel most of the time, but may need a little work on house training in a new home. Since cattle dogs are a working/herding breed, she will need a good amount of daily exercise to keep her busy and tire her out. Read more about Agnes and her adoptable friends at www.caninerescue.org and apply to adopt online, or visit the shelter and meet the dogs for yourself at 7540 N. Gale Street in Westfield, Monday through Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. No appointment required.
