The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week is Pierre, a recent arrival to the shelter who was rescued from an overcrowded shelter where his time had run out. He is a 1- or 2-year-old neutered male weighing in at a solid 60 pounds. If bulldogs are your breed of choice, Pierre might be the dog for you. He is thought to be a mix of English, French, and American bulldog, and he has the classic Bulldog personality. He is extremely affectionate with people and loves petting and cuddles, but can be quite jealous of other dogs when they get something he wants. Pierre can be stoic or clownish and goofy. When it’s time to relax, he is always happy to get comfy and lounge around. He is hoping for a family that will make him the focus of their attention.
