MAYVILLE — Thirty-nine members of the Mayville Senior Citizens turned out for the group’s first meeting in 2020. The group welcomed two new members and were delighted that Sandy Light was a visitor.

The tour directors reported that Horizon Club Tours is working on the scheduled trips for the year. They will let the club members know the itinerary and prices for the trips as soon as possible.

Door prizes were won by Anabelle Weise, Patti Szczepankiewicz, Jerry Johnson and Judy Ottaway.

President Loomis noted that several officers and committee chair people were absent because of illness. She also noted that it is time to pay 2020 dues of $5 per year.

After the meeting, all enjoyed playing bingo with caller Jeff Wagner. There were several winners; new member Jerry Johnson as well as Gabino Cruzado, Sandy Wagner, Janet Loomis, Darlene Barney, Laurie Magnuson, Laura Jean Parment and Judy Ottoway.

Program director Bill Tornstrom informed the group that Pat Cook will be the guest entertainer at the Jan. 16 meeting at the VFW in Mayville.

If Chautauqua Lake Central School is closed because of the weather, the meeting is canceled.
