Danielle Donelson defended her dissertation in May and graduated with her Doctor of Philosophy in English from Bowling Green State University on Aug. 4. Prior to earning her doctorate, Donelson served for five years with the Mennonite Central Committee and teaching at Satya Wacana Christian University in Salatiga, Indonesia. Donelson is the daughter of Denise and the late Steven Donelson. She will begin a position as a visiting assistant professor of English at Pfeiffer University this month.
