Altar Server Anna Sena Honored

Anna Sena of Ashville was honored at the 49th annual Bishop’s Altar Server Awards ceremony recently.
Bishop Richard J. Malone presided over the mass where more than 70 altar servers from the Buffalo Diocese received the Altar Server of the Year Award. Anna Sena has been altar serving at St. James Church for 10 years.
She is the daughter of Richard and Carol Sena of Ashville, and the granddaughter of Sam and Vicky Sena of Jamestown, and Frank Piazza of Jamestown.
A reception was held at the Buffalo Convention Center for recipients and their families. Deacon Mike Lennon represented St. James Church at the event.
Anna is a senior at Chautauqua Lake Central School. She is an honor student and is involved in various activities including student government and is looking forward to the upcoming track season. She plans to attend Jamestown Community College in the fall and then go on the Ranger School in Wanakena, N.Y.
