Donald L. Annis Jr.

He was born June 6, 1963 in Jamestown, the son of the late Donald L. Annis Sr. and Norma V. Whitmore Dalrymple.

Don was a 1982 graduate of Falconer High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving 20 years from 1982 to 2002. After retirement from the Navy, he was employed by Auto Zone and Home Depot.

He enjoyed spending time with family, working on his home and cars, antique collecting, and going to estate sales.

Surviving is his wife, Agustina “Tina”” Salazar Annis, whom he married Aug.22, 1985 in the Philippines; a daughter, Janey Annis of Seattle, WA; and his siblings, Sheena (John) Linkous of Jamestown, Kristina (Mike) Kinney of Jamestown, Rodney Dalrymple of Frewsburg, Scott Dalrymple of Salamanca, Casey (John) Harrison of Florida, Dennis Annis of Jamestown, Becky Annis of Jamestown, Dawn Crumb of Florida and Tracey Penhollow of Jamestown.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father, Donald L. Annis Sr., his mother, Norma V. Dalrymple on Nov. 14, 2004; stepfather, Robert E. Dalrymple; a niece, Elizabeth Mosier; and a nephew, Korey Seekins.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Phillip Pratt will officiate.

Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home and 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
