CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ ELLERY — Patrick D. Fleming, 26, of Erie, Pa., was charged on July 2 with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 1:35 a.m., deputies pulled over Fleming on Main Street in Ellery for reportedly speeding. It is alleged that Fleming was intoxicated. He was given appearance tickets for Ellery Court.
¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Briana K. Caskey, 25, of Sinclairville was charged on July 2 with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and failure to signal. At 12:31 p.m., deputies pulled over Caskey on Mill Road in Chautauqua for reportedly committing a traffic violation. It is alleged Caskey was in possession of more than two ounces of marijuana. She was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.
¯ STOCKTON — Joshua Burke, 29, of Stockon was charged on July 17 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed opetation, operating without insurance and unsafe tire. At 7:59 p.m., deputies responded to a two-carr accident on Cassadaga Stockton Road. It was determined that Burke was traveling southbound when he struck the rear of another southbound vehicle, driven by 40-year-old Andrew Hall of Sherman. Burke was taken to Westfield Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. He was given appearance tickets for Stockton Court for traffic violations.
¯ DUNKIRK — Jose L. Caraballo, 31, of Fredonia was charged on July 12 with petit larceny. At 12:36 a.m., Caraballo allegedly stole money from a business on Vineyard Drive in Dunkirk. He was given an appearance ticket for Dunkirk Court.
¯ SHERMAN — Marvin B. Byler, 25, of Clymer was charged on July 16 with DWI, DWI per se, speeding and consuming alcohol in motor vehicle. At 7:18 p.m., deputies pulled over Byler on Route 76 in Sherman for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that he was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Sherman Court.
¯ HANOVER — Robert K. Shumaker, 37, of Hanover was charged on July 18 with second-degree harassment. At 8:29 p.m., deputies responded to Angell Road in Hanover for a civil complaint. It is alleged that Shumaker pushed another individual. He was arraigned in Hanover Court and released on his own recognizance.
