Biking, Camping Event This Week

From Sunday to Wednesday, the Allegany Outdoor Club will stage a biking and camping event in the Buffalo-Niagara area. Participants will meet at the Jamestown Park and Ride at 9 a.m. on June 25 and drive to the Buffalo-Niagara area. The group will bike on the trails on Grand Island and Robert Moses Parkway for 20 miles and Clarence Pathways to Akron, 16.5 miles. The group will tent-camp at the Niagara Falls/Grand Island KOA, 2570 Grand Island Boulevard. Call 800-562-0787 or 773-7583 for reservations. Library Board To Meet On Monday

The Ellington Farman Library Board of Trustees will hold their monthly meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. There is time designated for the public to speak at the beginning of each meeting. The library is located at 760 Thornton Road in Ellington and is handicapped accessible.

Tea Party Group To Meet Tuesday

Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots will meet at 7 p.m., Tuesday, at the Lakewood American Legion. Key topics include: climate change, debates, safe spaces, the flag, and dumbest generation. The hot topic of climate change will be viewed on Prager. Mark Steyn will be interviewed by Tucker Carlson. Neel Kolhatkar will present “Educayshun Sunday” and science fiction. Ami Horowitz interviews a hate-filled UC Irvine student. “No Safe Spaces” will feature Dennis Prager. Update will be given on our participation in the July 4 parade in Mayville. Meetings are open to the public.

Ross Grange Gathers Monday

Ross Grange will meet for a tureen meal Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Falcon’s Nest Banquet Hall. A report will be given and plans made for the display booth at the Chautauqua County Fair. Anyone interested is invited to attend the meeting.

Free Movie Night Planned Tuesday

Christ Church LCMC, 3012 Route 430, Bemus Point, will present “God’s Not Dead” at its free movie night on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Hot dogs, popcorn and a beverage are provided at no charge.

Workshop In Dunkirk Tuesday

DUNKIRK — A workshop, “Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD): Ways to Communicate” will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Boys and Girls Club of Dunkirk, 296 Lakeshore Drive, Dunkirk. Participants will learn about communication disorders related to autism spectrum disorders and treatment strategies to improve communication skills in children with autism spectrum disorders. Outdoor Club To Host Meeting

RUSSELL — On Thursday, the Allegany Outdoor Club will hold its next planning meeting to schedule events for July, August, and September. The meeting will begin with a dish-to-pass dinner at 5 p.m.at the home of Debra and John Young, 1588 Townline Road, Russell, with the meeting to follow.
