Jim and Janice (Schroeder) Rundell of Forestville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a cross-country train trip to Oregon. They are the parents of Heidi (Matt) Forbes of Forestville and Brian (Arrow Lei) Rundell of Syracuse, N.Y. They have three grandchildren: Corey, Ryan and Ashley Forbes.

Jim and Janice both retired from Empire Specialty Steel. Mrs. Rundell is employed as bookkeeper for the town of Arkwright and part-time bookkeeper/receptionist for Dr. Jennifer L. Foley, DDS. Jim was a former CARTS driver and served in the U.S. Navy submarine service.
