Edward V. and Janet L. Johnson of Jamestown, N.Y., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 8, 2015. They are the parents of Marty Johnson, Cherie Visker, Jill Johnson, Ralph Johnson and Vern Johnson, all of Jamestown, N.Y., and Norman Johnson of South Carolina. They also have 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Johnson and the former Janet L. Engle were married Oct. 8, 1955, in Conewango, N.Y.

A veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War, Johnson had been employed by Crescent Tools Corp for more than 30 years. Mrs. Johnson had been employed as a seamstress.
