Helen and Clayton Emick of Stow, N.Y., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise party at LaScala Restaurant in Jamestown, N.Y., on Oct. 17, 2015. The celebration was hosted by their sons, Brian of Rome, Pa., and Bret of Glenshaw, Pa.

Emick and the former Helen Stenberg were married Oct. 16, 1965, in the Titusville EUB Church. The Rev. Claude Groters and the Rev. Elmer Coleman performed the ceremony.
