Bemus Point 5K Set For May 30

BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point Track Club will host its annual Buns on the Run 5K in the village on Saturday, May 30. The race starts and finishes in the Village Park at 1 Lakeside Drive. This year, the event will also feature a kids' 1-mile fun run. The race, which is run on an official USATF-certified course, is part of the Chautauqua Striders 2026 Runner of the Year Series. DUNKIRK — The Fredonia boys and girls track and field teams earned a pair of victories over rival Dunkirk in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association action on Tuesday. Nathan Keefe and Trenton Krenzer were both triple-winners for the Hillbillies en route to a 95-46 victory.
