WEST ELLICOTT -- Eden Ludwig jump-started Chautauqua Lake/Maple Grove to a 5-0 sweep of Frewsburg/Southwestern in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls tennis Tuesday.
Ludwig won 6-1, 6-0 at first singles and Janet Watson won 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) at second singles for the Eagles.
Josie Dawson and Camryn Mackey, Caroline Hetrick and Emma Rowe, and Emma Knight and Kaylee Knight all won doubles matches for Chautauqua Lake/Maple Grove.

SALAMANCA -- Salamanca improved to 2-0 overall and won its first Division 1 match 5-0 over Dunkirk.
Betsy Leyva and Kurryn Glownacki won in straight sets at singles for the Warriors. In doubles, Sage Huff and Mimi McComber, Keira Bova and Fiona McKune, and Eden McKune and Paxtynn Kerswill combined to drop just two games to the Marauders.
