Libraries Are More Than A Warehouse For Books

To The Reader’s Forum: If you think that libraries are no longer relevant in the age of Google and Alexa, then you haven’t stood outside of the James Prendergast Libary on a Saturday morning at 9:50. Cheers To Those In The JCC Performance

To The Reader’s Forum: Three cheers for everyone involved in JCC’s production of “La Cage Aux Folles.” The performance I saw was absolutely delightful. There are lots of laughs, and some very tender moments too. Super cast, great orchestra, stunning costumes, especially the wardrobe for Adam Owens, who really knows how to wear a dress, from refined to over-the-top ruffles. To The Reader’s Forum: What is the crime that President Trump guilty of? Trump is guilty of the crime of extortion. He did so by trying to get the government of the Ukraine to make an official announcement that it was investigating Trump’s rival political candidate, Joe Biden, in exchange for releasing military aid appropriated by our Congress.
