Jamestown Police Department — Demario D. McBride, 41, of Buffalo was charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child after an incident that began at 11:50 p.m. Monday at a north side address. According to a police report, officers spoke with a person who said there had been a domestic dispute and learned McBride allegedly entered a home, assaulted and choked a person in front of a child less than 17 years of age. Celoron Man Charged With Attempted Production, Possession Of Child Pornography

BUFFALO - Jose Perez, 39, of Celoron, has been charged by criminal complaint with attempted production of child pornography and possession of child pornography, which carry a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Assistant U.S. Attorney David J. Rudroff, who is handling the case, stated that on September 3, 2022, Homeland Security Investigations received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Perez uploaded a file a suspected child pornography. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE — MAYVILLE — Dotiana EL Beard Miller, 23, of Erie, Pa., was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated and driving while ability impaired by drugs. Deputies were called at 7:46 a.m. Thursday to a convenience store on North Erie Street in Mayville to check the well-being of a driver parked at a gas station pump who was reportedly sleeping. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT --- HANOVER -- At around 2:45 p.m. Friday, deputies as well as Forestville EMS responded to a single motor vehicle rollover accident. Through an investigation it was found the operator of the vehicle involved, 53-year-old Jodi L. Brown of West Seneca, was driving while intoxicated. She was additionally charged with an unsafe lane change and failing to keep right. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Jennifer A. Glover, 40, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers observed Glover at 11:13 p.m. Thursday in the area of East Second and Dexter streets. Glover was wanted on an outstanding warrant and was taken into custody without incident. She was allegedly found with a quantity of methamphetamine and later held for arraignment in court. CARROLL POLICE DEPARTMENT — Steven W. LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT — Karlie L. Hallett, 32, of Cattaraugus, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny. Police responded at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday to a reported shoplifting at an East Fairmount Avenue business. Officers observed a vehicle attempting to flee the area with stolen merchandise. An investigation found that Hallett allegedly left the store with merchandise totaling $983.60. Hallett is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later.
