JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Cassaundra Wick, 24, of Jamestown, was charged Thursday with false personation and resisting arrest. According to police, officers of the 2nd platoon responded to an address on the north side of the city for a possible burglary in progress. Officers arrived on scene and located two females inside the residence at the door. Officers then cleared the rest of the residence for additional subjects and located a female hiding in a bathroom. Officers made contact with the female Cassaundra M. Wick who had an outstanding warrant out of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department. Cassaundra allegedly lied to officers about her identity and was taken into custody. Cassaundra allegedly attempted to resist arrest and pulled away from officers in an attempt to escape. She was transported to the city jail. After further investigation, the initial two females located by officers in the residence had permission to be at the residence, so they were released without charges.
