Mosley, 37, of Jamestown was charged with resisting arrest, second-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 6:04 p.m. Sunday after officers reportedly saw Mosley walking near Myrtle Street and Newland Avenue knowing she had outstanding arrest warrants from another police agency. According to a police report, officers tried to speak with Mosley, who then ran into a nearby home. The home’s residents didn’t know Mosley. Officers found Mosley in the basement. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Latrisha S. McCarty, 54, of Clymer was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 6:57 p.m. Wednesday after city police officers saw her in the area of Liberty and East Eighth streets knowing she had an outstanding arrest warrant. McCarty was taken into custody and when they searched her, allegedly found methamphetamine. McCarty was taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned. - Nylix J. Six hurt in Arkwright ATV accident ARKWRIGHT -- An ATV accident injured six individuals and led to one victim being taken by helicopter to Buffalo. The Forestville Fire Department noted on its Facebook page the incident occurred around 9:25 p.m. Friday on Weaver Road. Upon arrival, crews determined three of them confirmed had been ejected from the back of the ATV. Accident closes transfer facility early An accident at the north county transfer station closed the facility early Thursday. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to the location on Webster Road around 11:30 a.m. after a 79-year-old man was struck by a vehicle and had fallen into the garbage pit. Members of the Fredonia Fire Department were able to get the male out of the pit and transported him to ECMC with injuries to his legs.
