Two Charged After Wednesday Drug Raid

Two Jamestown residents face drug charges after a raid on West Eighth Street on Wednesday. At 10:23 a.m. Wednesday, members of the of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at 218 W. Eighth St. Prior to the execution of the search warrant, Katiria Cruz-Torres, 39, of Jamestown was allegedly seen leaving the residence in a vehicle and was pulled over by Jamestown police officers and detained. Falconer issues reminder on tax collection

FALCONER — Mayor James Jaroszynski would like to remind village residents that Village Tax Collection will take place at Falconer Village Hall, located at 101 W. Main St.. Unlike previous years, Village taxes will not be collected at The Town of Elllicott offices. Residents are encouraged to make note of this change to avoid confusion during the tax collection period. Payments and any related tax inquiries should be directed to Village Hall during business hours.
