Jamestown JV Improves To 7-0 With Shutout Of McKinley

Cal Ricker was in on 10 tackles to lead a stingy Jamestown defense to a 34-0 win over McKinley in JV football action Saturday at Strider Field.

Ricker also had a sack while Simeon Leeper was in on nine tackles, including a sack, and recovered three fumbles. Dasai Bradberry was in on eight tackles.

Jaylen Butera led the Red Raiders offense with 14 carries for 80 yards and touchdowns runs of 4, 1 and 7 yards. Markell Carter added seven carries for 61 yards and a 23-yard touchdown while Trey Drake threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Cam’ron Mayes.

Undefeated Jamestown will close out its season with a home contest against West Seneca West at 7 p.m. Thursday at Strider Field.
