Hilliker shoots 77 to lead Travel League

LAKEWOOD — Josh Hilliker led the field with the low round of 77 during this week's Wednesday Travel League event, held at Maplehurst Country Club. Bob North finished second with an 80 and Jeff Nelson was third with an 82. North led the front nine with a 37 and Hilliker led the back nine with a 36. CLRA celebrating 20 years Sunday

Chautauqua Lake Rowing Association is celebrating 20 years on the water this year. As part of that celebration, CLRA is having a kickoff gathering this Sunday at its boathouse, which is located at 18 Jones and Gifford Ave. in Jamestown. There will be an opportunity to row between noon and 1 p.m. with the general celebration set from 1-3 p.m. There will also be music during the event provided by The Assembly, a well-known local band.
