Lakewood YMCA announces 2026 Firecracker Run

LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Family YMCA recently announced the return of the annual 2026 Firecracker Run on Saturday, July 4 at Lakewood Beach, located at 2 W. Terrace Ave. This community tradition brings together runners, walkers, families and spectators from across the region to celebrate Independence Day with fitness, fun and community spirit. Participants can choose from a 10K run, 2-mile run or 2-mile walk, with race activities beginning at 9 a.m. Race day packet pickup and registration will be available from 7-8:30 a.m. at Lakewood Beach.
