Cattaraugus County HOF Golf Tournament set for July 22 (posted)

RANDOLPH — The Cattaraugus County Sports Hall of Fame still has room for a foursome or a twosome for its scramble golf tournament which will be held Wednesday, July 22 at Cardinal Hills Golf Course in Randolph on Wednesday, July 22. The tournament, which will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m., is open to the public. The $75 tournament fee will include golf, cart, lunch, dinner and team/individual awards and prizes. Previous Hall of Fame inductees are encouraged to participate. Call/text tournament director Mark Benton at 716-770-8809 to register a team.

AKRON — The Wednesday Travel League made its first ever trip to Dande Farms Golf Course, making it the 76th different course played since records began being kept in 2001. Jeff Nelson shot the low round of 77 to capture his second tour win of the season.
