LAKEWOOD — John Blum and Denny Howe each shot a 36 for low-gross honors, while Brian Kane recorded the low net with a 30 to show the way in the Youngsville Senior Golf League at Maplehurst Country Club.
Other gross scores were Kane 41, Ron Holmes 42 and Steve Nikitas 42.
Other net scores were Howe 32 and Nikitas 33.
Howe collected a pair of birdies, and Jim California, who had the longest putt on No. 18, had one birdie.

CHAUTAUQUA — Bob Gervasi fired a low-gross 38 and Tyler Wright and Tim Voltman each recorded a low-net 32 on the front nine in the Bill Sprague Memorial League at Chautauqua Golf Club.
Other gross scores on the front nine were Don Angelo 40 and Carl Vandevelde 42. Other net scores were Dave Freay 33 and Tom Volpe 34.
Craig Martin shot the low gross on the back nine with a 41 and Jim Bradford had the low net with a 31.
Other gross scores on the back nine were Doug Truver 42, Brayden Wappat 42, Don Hustead 42, Rick Bowman 42.
Other net scores were Hustead 32, Ken Clute 34 and Bowman 35.
The final week for team points play is Aug. 23. A scramble and steak fry is scheduled for Aug. 30.

Lorraine Diggs led the Early League with a 50.
Other scores were Susan Wilson 52, Lana Creal 53 and Brenda Olson 53.
Wilson was closest to the pin on No. 10.
