Trap Leagues
There were two closely contested shoots this past week in the Chautauqua County Trap League.
Busti edged Randolph 344-342 and Celoron got by Ellington 340-338.
Perfect 50s were scored by Busti’s Mike Johnson, Ray Lee and Scott Hulings, Randolph’s Steve Crudele and Ellington’s Jim Nowacki.
Celoron’s Stephanie Tutmaher was High Lady with a 49. Ellington’s Cooper Doud was High Jr. with a 49. Celoron’s Jerry Martin was High Veteran with a 49. Crudele and Nowacki tied for High Sr. Veteran honors with their 50s. Lee’s 50 was good for High Super Sr. Veteran.
Two weeks ago, Randolph edged Busti 386-385, using a tie-breaker score, and Celoron topped Ellington 337-322.
Celoron’s Jeff Gens had the only perfect 50. Randolph’s Andy Sickles and Ellington’s Brad Doud both had their first 25 straight.
Celoron’s Rose Corbran was High Lady with a 45. Ellington’s Anna Carlson was High Jr. with a 48. Busti’s Kirk Decker was High Veteran with a 49. Randolph’s Denny Gullo was High Sr. Veteran with a 49. Celoron’s Russ Wingard was High Super Sr. Veteran with a 48.
