The Falconer junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams will be hosting a “Block Out Cancer” event during their regular-season matches against Jamestown on Tuesday, Oct. 18. The jayvee match starts at 5 p.m. and varsity at 5:30 p.m. All proceeds from the concession stand and Chinese auction will be donated to Lily’s Hope. Lily’s Hope is a boutique located inside of UPMC Chautauqua and provides free wigs and scarves to women who are going through cancer treatment. Last week, the Falconer volleyball teams raised money to be donated to Nolan’s Race. Ticket sales for the Chinese auction will begin at 4:30.
