After dropping the first set, Randolph rattled off three wins to defeat Southwestern 4-1 by scores of 18-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-22 in nonleague volleyball action on Friday at Southwestern High School.
Randolph was led by Eve Adams with two aces, 25 kills and 16 digs; Kameron Luce had two aces, two kills, 31 assists and four digs; Donnilynn Sheldon registered three aces, three kills, three blocks and two digs; Sadie Steward made seven kills and four digs.
Standing out for Southwestern was Arrington Restivo with six digs, 30 assists, two kills and three aces; Lauren Cotter made eight digs, 19 kills and one ace; Jaidyn Newhouse had seven kills, four aces and two blocks; and Payton Swartz added nine digs.
HORNETS EARN 1ST WIN
FORESTVILLE — Forestville earned its first volleyball victory of the season, defeating Cattaraugus-Little Valley (0-8, 0-6 CCAA East) in four sets 23-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-16 in nonleague action on Friday.
The Hornets (1-5, 0-5 CCAA D2 West) were led by Hannah Fox with three blocks, four aces and four digs; Kaytlynn Franklin had three kills, five digs and three aces; Gracie Johnson added five blocks, three digs and two kills; Kaitie Lomanto made 16 assists, two blocks, eight digs and four aces.
