Frewsburg Holds Off North Collins In First Round 79-69

FREWSBURG — Connor Murray poured in 15 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter as Frewsburg held off North Collins 79-69 in the first round of the Frewsburg Holiday Tournament on Tuesday night.

The junior guard scored 18 of his game-high 33 points in the final eight minutes, pulling North Collins to within six, but Frewsburg made its free throws down the stretch to hold on for the victory.

“It was a track meet for a while,” Bears coach Rob Collver said. ” … We looked really good in the third quarter.”
