GOLDEN FALCONS WIN

FALCONER — Falconer defeated Chautauqua Lake 5-0 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls tennis on Wednesday.

The Golden Falcons swept the singles events with Angelina Fiasco defeating Elise Riedesel 6-2, 6-1, Riley Farrugello defeated Olivia Shearer 6-1, 6-2 and Miranda McKane won due to forfeit.

Similar success was found in doubles with Myla Brainard-Khloe Livengood topping Mary Marshaus-Gabrielle Freeburg 6-4, 7-6 (9-7). Haley Whitford-Kayla Whitford won second doubles via forfeit.

Falconer improved to 9-2 overall and Chautauqua Lake fell to 0-8 overall.
