Senior Golf
The Asquith Senior Tour played in two locations on Monday.
At Bemus Point Golf Course, following are the first-place finishers: Randy Carlson (minus 6, White A); Marty Burroughs (plus 4, White B); Norm Biegaj (plus 1, Gold A); Ron Wiley (plus 4, Gold B); Sam Shreffler (minus 1, Gold C); and Ed Potter (plus 6, Gold D).
The second-place finishers are Roger Milspaw (minus 1, Gold A); Brian Champlin (0, Gold B); and Gary Wilson (plus 4, Gold D).
The gross leaders were Biegaj with an 86 and Wiley with an 88. Milspaw was closest to the pin on No. 11.
At Cassadaga Country Club, Don Bengston had the low gross with an 85 to lead the way in A White; Fran Dexter with an 89 in B White; Paul Olkowski with a 93 in Gold A; Doug Spoto with a 90 in Gold B; Dick Tyler with a 96 in Gold C; and Bob Kraus with a 96 in Gold D.
Following are the leaders in each flight: Bengston, plus 2, White A; Dexter, plus 2, White B; Olkowski, minus 6, Gold A; Gary Sagurney, 0, Gold B; Tyler, plus 2, Gold C; and Clyde Mohl, plus 6, Gold D.
Second-place finishers are Judy Foy, plus 3, White A; Paul Edson, Plus 2, White B; Spoto and John Ames, minus 1, Gold B; Andy Scalise, plus 1, Gold C; and Tuck Underwood, plus 4, Gold D.
Third-place finishers are Jim White, minus 6, White A; Mike Peyton, minus 7, White B; Bruce Carlson, minus 3, Gold B; Art Asquith, minus 1, Gold C; and Kaus, plus 3, Gold D.
Next Monday, the Senior Tour will play at Gowanda Country Club, beginning at 9 a.m.
