To The Reader’s Forum: It is about time that the American people were educated and informed about what true “Socialism” is and is not. The fact is that in true socialism, “the means of production” are owned and controlled by all of the people. One important step our country can take is to enact a carbon fee and dividend policy which would place a steadily increasing fee on fossil fuels. Countless clubs and associations use raffles to augment their budgets. Dues and fees just don’t create the capital to run a club.
