Trump Does Not Have A ‘Powerful Mandate’

To The Reader’s Forum: Well, contrary to the Trump claim that he had won a “powerful mandate” as a result of the 2024 election, he has no such “mandate” other than the fact he won the election. The reality, although small one, is that greater than 50% of voters actually voted for candidates other than Trump! Republicans claim the 2024 race was where they secured a “landslide” when the results reveal that this was one of the closest presidential elections of the post–World War II era. Most are cluttered and complex and show little sensitivity to the user interface or user experience. I often have to hunt for buttons or links that allow me to do the simplest things, but if the sites were designed properly, those tasks would be intuitive and seamless.
