Roderick Thomas Gillis

Tom was born on July 12, 1954, to Rod and Joyce Gillis in Jamestown NY.

He graduated in 1972 and then joined the Army. After his years in the Military, he worked in the family business (Gillis Brothers Well Drilling) with his father. Then went on to work in many places around the world including Russia, Japan, Iraq, Mexico, and Alaska.

Tom is survived by his loving wife Robin Bennett-Gillis, and his 3 children Kristie (Kosta) Greenstein of Olean NY, Rod (Rigel) Gillis of Vail AZ, Jamie (Mike) Kruger of Roseto PA as well as 9 grandsons Zach, Colin, Bryce, Spencer, Brodie, Diego, Mateo, Sebastian, Eryx, and 1 granddaughter Ashlynn. Tom is also survived by his Mother Joyce Gillis, Sister Connie (Dan) Goldberg of Panama NY, brother Tim (Joanne) Gillis of Gowanda NY, brother Todd (Michelle) Gillis of Mooresboro NC, and multiple nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Rod Gillis and nephew Dennis Boberg.
