Mark Manuel “Pete” Aldrich

He was born March 31,1933 to Ralph and Sara Hathaway Aldrich in Bradford, PA. He was 91 years old. He lived a very full life. He worked at Knights Veneer for 33 years and then Falconer High School as a maintenance helper. He was known by many as the man who walked everywhere engaging in gab sessions with those he encountered either on walks or as he sat in front of his home on North Work St in Falconer.

He was a friend to everyone. Pete was an antique and household sale enthusiast. He never saw an auction or a sale he did not want to attend. His favorite things were coffee, a good story, snap shirts, and a little money in his shirt pocket. He is well known for his love of western tv and movies.

Pete is survived by his daughters Sandy Mazano of Meadville PA, Joanie Galeski of Cranesville PA, and by his sons Mark Aldrich of Erie PA and Ralph Aldrich of Erie PA. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, Suzanne Marino, William Dominquez, Carie Dominquez, Ricardo Aldrich, Victor Mazano, Jeremy Aldrich, Justin Galeski, Josh Galeski, Justine Galeski, and Monica Aldrich. He is survived by several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. His sisters, Nancy Card of Ashville, Eleanore Burch of Jamestown, Gloria Rohrig of Alabama, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Caroline (Andy) Bombola, and brothers, James (Cora) Aldrich and Howard (Dorthy) Aldrich, and a brother-in-law Clarence Card.

A funeral service will be held at Falconer Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, at 2:00pm with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment will be announced later.

A very special “Thank you” to all who befriended Pete and helped to care for him throughout his lifetime.
