Annette R. “Sami” Washy

She was born on May 25, 1960 in Springville, a daughter of the late Roger and Margaret “Peg” Phillips Razey.

She was a 1978 graduate of Gowanda Central School.

Sami had worked at Gowanda Electronics, Harson Manufacturing, Bill’s Lair, and Pete’s Place.

She enjoyed wine tours and festivals, was an avid fan of the Buffalo Sabres and the San Francisco 49ers, and loved being around the fire with her friends and family, drink in her hand, and music in the background by Bon Jovi and The Tragically Hip.

Sami is survived by her husband Gregg Washy; a daughter Nicole Hauck; three grandchildren Jordan (Cadenn) Hauck, Anthony (Haylie) Hauck, Allison (Vincent) Hauck; three great-grandchildren Noah Lent, Hudson Hebner, Adalynn Hauck; three sisters Bonnie (Bill) Nelligan, Cheryl (Gerry) Razey, Diana (Art) Chandler; four brothers-in-law Dan Washy, Chris Washy, Vic Washy, Mike Washy; her mother-in-law Laurie Washy, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law Andrew Washy.

A celebration of life will be held on May 18, 2024 at the Coldspring Fire Hall beginning at 2 pm.
