Robert A. Straight Sr.

Bob was born November 21, 1948 in Jamestown NY to Kenneth and Agnes Straight. He was a graduate of Southwestern Central School. He was a Foreman for Falconer Metal Specialties, CNC Operator at Ring Precision and then retired from Johnson Machine.

Bob loved going for motorcycle rides on his Harley and spending time at the Jamestown Vietman Veterans Association where he was also the president. He was a member of the Falconer Rod and Gun Club and Celeron Legion Post 777. Bob was part of the Honor Guard and felt it was a great privilege to honor fellow veterans. Bob loved to hunt, fish, target shoot, collected RC planes and cars and of course watching FOX News.

Bob is survived by his wife, Debbie (Nickerson) Straight, whom he married on April 28, 2007, his companion of 26 years, his sons, Jason Straight (Shauna), Robert Straight Jr (Kris), his daughter, Katie Swartz (Steve), his stepsons Jose Nickerson (Kelly) and Joshua Perez. Bob had 7 grandchildren, Brandon Straight, Jenna Straight, Caitlin Straight, Madison Swartz, Cooper Swartz, Kyler Nickerson, Braelan Nickerson and Lauren Perez and his beloved cat Snickers.

A memorial service will be held at a later date as Bob decided to continue to help further the advancement of science.

Memorials can be in the form of thanking a veteran for their service or helping a friend in need.
